MY STORY

I am an all american teen. I am 17 and I enjoy playing sports with friends, but I feel most at home at the drag strip. I am a member of NHRA and The National Honors Society at Basehor-Linwood High School. Basehor is a small town just outside of Kansas City, it is about 45 minutes east of Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka and about 10 minutes from Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

As a third generation drag racer, I began racing in a custom flamed, orange Motivational Tubing junior dragster. I competed at 8 years old in the 8-9 year old division at Heartland Park, Topeka and was named the 2010 Points Champion. Fast forward to 2017 at age 16, and I started my NHRA sportsman career racing a '68 Camaro in Super Stock.

At my first Division 5 race in 2018, at my home track, Heartland Motorsports Park, I advanced into the finals and picked up my first career win racing against 2017 Division 5 Champion, Brett Speer.

My most recent win was at SRCA Dragstip in Sept. 2018. The event win secured my spot in NHRA JEGS AllStars — The race-within-a-race program for NHRA's Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competitors.
Contested at the Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago, the event was in May of 2019.

In January 2018, I set two goals for the year;
     (1) To win Division 5 points championship in Super Stock, and
     (2) To maintain the National Honor's Society status in High School ...
       ... by October 2018, I met both goals.

January 26, 2019 at the NHRA Division 5 awards banquet, I received the Division 5 Super Stock Championship Wally and the Rookie of the Year award. A dream come true.
