MY STORY

I am an all american teen. I am 18 and I feel most at home at the drag strip. I am a high school Senior, member of NHRA and The National Honors Society at Basehor-Linwood High School. Basehor is a small town just outside of Kansas City, Kansas. It is about 45 minutes east of Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka and about 10 minutes from Kansas Speedway.

As a third generation drag racer, I began racing in a custom flamed, orange Motivational Tubing junior dragster. I competed at 8 years old in the 8-9 year old division at Heartland Park, Topeka and was named the 2010 Points Champion. Fast forward to 2017 at age 16, and I started my NHRA sportsman career racing a '68 Camaro in Super Stock.

At my first Division 5 race in 2018, at my home track, Heartland Motorsports Park, I advanced into the finals and picked up my first career win racing against previous year's Division 5 Champion, Brett Speer.

The event win in Great Bend, Ks. at the SRCA Dragstrip in Sept. 2018 secured my spot in the 2019 NHRA JEGS AllStars — The race-within-a-race program for NHRA's Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competitors.
Contested at the Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago, the event is reserved for 100 of NHRA's sportsman racers.

When my sportsman career started, I set two goals for myself; (1) to win the Division 5 points championship in Super Stock, and (2) to maintain my National Honor's Society status in High School.
I achieved both goals. At the end of the 2018 race season, I ranked #12 in the world. The goals I set for 2019 include a repeat Division 5 championship title, keep my National Honor's Society status as a senior, and rank top 10 in the world!
